DBCK organized a workshop on < Sustainability
in Business : How to implement this within your company in Korea> on Tuesday, 26th November 2013 at Cafe &
Lounge 'Berlin' in Itaewon.
After a short presentation by Mr. Hong Lee, CEO of Control Union
Certifications Korea, the group discussion has followed where the participants could share ideas and opinions
on the topic.
At this workshop, 2 members of BKBF (The Belgian-Korean Business Forum) joined other
than 16 members of DBCK.

DBCK mini-workshop <Doing Business in
Korea : Challenges Ahead>
DBCK organized a mini-workshop with Mr. Peter A.
Underwood, senior partner of IRC Ltd., on < Doing Business in Korea: Challenges Ahead> on Thursday, 22nd August 2013.
Mr.
Underwood, as a specialist in business strategy development & implementation and Korean market entry, shared his
in-depth knowledge of Korean industry and business culture.
This workshop has also provided with an
interactive platform for the participants to share their opinions, ideas and strategies on how to best tackle the future challenges
to doing business and managing a company in Korea.
After the workshop, a simple dinner and drinks followed.

DBCK Golf Tournament
: Dutch Open 2013
The annual DBCK Golf Tournament, Dutch Open 2013 took place on Monday,
10th June at the Lakeside Country Club in Yongin.
DBCK members and their business partners and friends made 15 flights in total and played golf together,
followed by an outdoor BBQ. With the support of our generous sponsors, several prizes were awarded.

Special Evening with Mr. Frans Weekers, Vice
Minister for Finance of the Netherlands ) |
On March 11th, more than 34 members of DBCK
spent a special evening with Mr. Frans Weekers, Vice Minister for Finance of the Netherlands at <ChikoVino
Wine & Dine> in Itaewon.
At his speech, Mr. Weekers told about his program
in Korea and touched upon the current developments in the Netherlands and Europe in light of his broad and long experience in political and
financial career. After his speech, a Q&A session and a buffet dinner followed. |

Heineken Evening
There
was a casual beer evening organized on Thursday, 7 February 2013 at the recently relocated office of Heineken Korea,
where more than 40 guests attended.
Mr. Jan
Arie Smit, general manager of Heineken Korea, gave an interesting presentation
about Heineken branding in Korea followed by a draught beer pouring training.
